You will find lots of fun things to do with your puppy. Ride the Burlington Greenway along the shores of Lake Champlain, and stop for a local brew at one of the city’s dog-friendly breweries. Burlington beer spots that allow patio kids include Foam Brewers and Zero Gravity Craft Brewery, while places like Switchback Brewing Co. also allows dogs inside. Church Street Mall, one of New England’s most pedestrian-friendly (and kid-friendly) malls, has plenty of dining and shopping options. For pet-friendly accommodations within walking distance of downtown, Made in Vermont offers a comfortable home away from home for you and your dog.
When the dogs hit in summer, there’s no better place to hang out with your dog than Cape Cod! With miles of pristine beaches, unparalleled beauty and countless outdoor activities, Cape Cod is a summer destination for people and dogs alike. You will love visiting Cape Cod National Seashore. This sun-washed sandy beach allows dogs to be caught even in high season. Next, quench your thirst at Provincetown Brewing Company. They’re so dog-friendly (and socially aware), the dog house has a beer garden that says “I bite racists.” The Cape also has shelters for pets. Treat your dog at Chatham Bars Inn Resort or try “jumping” with your dog at a campsite at Nickerson State Park.
