Jogging tours of Bucks County Barns and Covered Bridges, walks around Fonthill Castle where dogs can enjoy park-like grounds and trails, and visiting local pubs are some of our favorite things to do in Bucks County. But no trip to the area would be complete without a little shopping at the dog-friendly Peddlers Village.

Peddlers Village, located near the town of New Hope, welcomes nearly two million visitors each year with annual events such as an arts and crafts fair, a flea market, a scarecrow contest, an apple festival, a strawberry festival, a gingerbread house contest, a quilt contest, and a Christmas festival. when a million lights illuminate the village from the Friday before Thanksgiving until New Year’s Day.

What makes this mall unique is that it feels like a colonial community, set in 42 hectares of parkland with landscaped gardens and brick walkways.
Across the square are 65 boutiques, six restaurants and bars, and a hotel, each housed in a beautiful, elegant building.
Many stores try to accommodate puppies with water bowls outside and behind the counter.
And when it’s time to rest their paws, there are plenty of chairs in the shade waiting for a pup who needs a place to rest.
State Parks That Allow Pets
The only disappointment was that none of the Peddlers Village restaurants had a dog-friendly patio where we could eat. However, there are plenty of places to sit outside and getting food wasn’t a problem. It also gave us more opportunities to enjoy the scenery.
