The nearest MRT station is City Hall. The Art Connector is an accessible sheltered walkway on North Bridge Road that connects to the gallery’s Coleman Street entrance. To visit Art Connector, take the elevator at City Hall MRT Exit D and go to Exit B, where Art Connector begins. Singapore’s MRT network is wheelchair accessible and station staff are trained to assist passengers with disabilities.

The entrance to the gallery car park is on St Andrews Road. There are three parking spaces: one on level B2 and two on level B3. All accessible parking spaces are located next to the B elevator. All elevators are wheelchair accessible. The elevators located at Lift B Lobby will take you to Level 1 where you can pick up your tickets at the passport issuers or at the Coleman Street and Padang Visitor Service Stations.
We bring manual and motorized wheelchairs to the gallery. All of the gallery’s exhibits are wheelchair accessible, and all floors are accessible by elevator.
For safety reasons, not all Personal Action Devices (PMAs) are suitable for use in our gallery spaces.
If space is not available for PMAs, a consultant will be sent. All loose or large items must be stored in the locker next to the B lobby elevator.

The National Museum of Singapore spent six months working with the Disability Association (DPA) and disability consultants to create an accessible guide that provides visitors with disabilities with the information they need to plan the museum. Levelfield consultants conducted an initial survey of the gallery, after which they and the DPA prepared an access guide. The guide has been endorsed by DPA’s Inclusion Ambassadors – DPA’s disabled members, who say it is easy to understand and useful for visitors with disabilities.
Ambassadors, including DPA, trained gallery staff and volunteers to better understand the needs of visitors with disabilities. Ambassadors included shared their different life experiences with different disabilities and trained customer service staff on how to use the access guide.
