You will also find some experienced fishermen who make this island a fishing destination!

There are many turtles in the turtle sanctuary on the temple grounds and a pair of rock turtles stand guard in front of the turtle pond. On this island, you can drop coins into an artificial lotus flower and deliver your furry best friend to three Malaysian shrines where devotees walk up 152 steps to pray. There is also an annual Kusu Yatra held every ninth lunar month of the year where thousands of devotees visit the island to pray for good health, prosperity and fertility. Be careful as there are resident monkeys that you can usually see interacting with the sanctuary guards who can be overly playful and will protect your belongings if not well guarded.

As mentioned earlier, it is now designated as a marine park managed by the Singapore National Park Board. Little Brother Island is not open to the public. Big Sisters Island offers many activities such as snorkeling and diving (only for humans of course), swimming, picnic lunch, surfing (only during low tide). However, note that it is still closed for development work until March 2024.
Coney Island, located off the northeast coast of Singapore, is believed to be the model for the famous Coney Island in New York, although it doesn’t look like that place now. Unlike the first 4 islands, you do not need to book a ferry to visit this island as it is connected to the mainland.
