A Dog Friendly Holiday In Devon At Oakdown Holiday Park
Located near year-round dog-friendly beaches, our award-winning dog-friendly villas are a haven for dogs and their owners. Each villa has its own fully fenced garden, so your dog can run free (and get a good sniff of the rabbits!). Our outdoor showers are great for washing off sandy feet and jackets after a nice walk on the beach or through the dunes (also great for washing wetsuits!).
Our beach villas offer stylish and comfortable accommodation for families, couples, groups of friends and their dogs. All villas are fully equipped for a comfortable self catering beach holiday in Devon.
For furniture, we offer blankets to protect sofas and home textiles. If your four-legged friend enjoys snuggling up on the sofa or you think you need more, bring your own extra blankets to ensure the entire furniture is protected. Hard floors in all villas can be swept and mopped – no carpets here!
Dog crates with vet beds are available on request, leaving room for everything else in the car. Our canine guests receive a dog crate on arrival containing a variety of goodies including an exclusive Santon Beach Villas dog tag to wear with pride! We do not charge a dog fee per night – the £40 dog fee covers all your dogs during your stay.

We’ve stocked up on Kelso and Titch’s tried-and-tested (from office dogs!) treats, including dog popcorn, delicious sausages and crunchy cookies! We’re also big fans of their cute paw and nose balms – perfect for giving your furry friend some TLC after a long walk on the beach!
All our villas are dog friendly. For example, if there are 4 people and 5 dogs, you will feel more comfortable in a 6-person bed than in a 4-person bed. No reservation required, we would like to make a recommendation so that you all have a good time!
We have groups of dogs such as agility teams that are regularly with us as they can be together without having to worry about the dog’s limitations. We often hear from families who haven’t gone on holiday for years because they couldn’t find accommodation for all their dogs, and we’re happy to offer such group trips together.

Accessible Holidays In Devon
Yes, each villa has a fully fenced garden – the fences are approximately 1.20m high and are hit and miss in style. If you need specific fence heights for a specific villa, please let us know. In the garden you will find an outdoor shower, perfect for washing off sandy feet and wells after a long walk on the beach or cooling off your dogs on a hot day!
If you have a dog that would benefit from a quiet space on the location, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you on the most suitable villa.
We do not prohibit our guests from leaving dogs in the villa. Of course, treat your dog responsibly and do not leave it outside for long periods of time or when it is too hot in the villa. Please respect your neighbors and do not let your dog out if you know it will make unnecessary noise during your absence.
We stayed at 5 The Dunes. Perfect location for the beautiful Santon Sands beach. The villa was well equipped and perfect for the family and our 2 large dogs. Excellent value for money even during the school holidays.

I have just returned from a 4 day holiday at 3 Dunes with my teenagers and our Kavapoodle Bee and it was perfect. We walked a lot on the beach and the food at the Beach Grill was delicious. Tip – Have Tesco delivered to your door!
If you have a dog, this is the place for you. Can’t fault anything and will definitely be back.
What a wonderful place to stay. The villa was clean and comfortable and had everything you need for your stay including a self-catering kitchen. The beach was fantastic and our dog really enjoyed running along the beach and through the caves. It’s sad that I have to leave it and go back home, but I would definitely come back next time.
We love Santon Sands Beach and the rooms are perfect for an active holiday. Being able to take your furry friends with us is always a bonus

We stayed at Santon for three nights and enjoyed it very much. The accommodation is clean and well equipped. You will need to bring your own towels, but this information will tell you how to do it. The location is excellent, very close to the beach.
We enjoyed our stay here and walked the dogs a lot. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The villa was lovely and clean on arrival and the dog loved the box of treats left by the staff. All our expectations from friends who recommended Santon Sands Villas to us were met. However, our first shelter is here
