First of all, a little introduction of how we became new pet parents. Two years ago, when the coronavirus suddenly entered our lives and the first lockdown began, my husband and I joined a group of animal lovers to help feed stray dogs on the streets. This is how we found the cutest puppy that got lost in the park without their mother. They were just about to be born, and we took turns feeding them. One of them was a strong, playful puppy, and one of our friends immediately named him Raju, because that was the favorite name of all dogs.

Raju grew stupid and fat by the day and soon became the happy but powerful alpha of the pack. Unfortunately, misfortune befell him and he was apparently beaten up by thugs in the middle of the night when he was six months old and broke his back. Raju, a very strong young man, was almost paralyzed and in great pain – many doctors said they would drop him. Finally, one of them agreed to the operation and we brought him home with the hope that one day he will be able to walk and run like normal dogs. But after two years, although he can stand and walk a little, he is still half-paralyzed and incontinent, but he runs with the stroller wheels we brought him. Raju is a traveler because he has been to beaches and jungles and now he is enjoying a wonderful vacation in the mountains. His younger sister Aishu has always been with him and has been traveling with us for the past few months and this was his first trip away from home.
