Park in one of the many car parks on Beachy Head Road (BN20 7YA), the largest of which is the Beachy Head pub (5 minutes from The Lansdowne Hotel). If you are traveling by train, the property is 3 stops from the center of Beachy Head from Western Lawns station (2 minutes walk from The Lansdowne Hotel). From there you can walk along the cliffs to Beachy Head: over the falls or a quieter and more accessible route (750m circular route). On a clear day, the scenery on this walk stretches for miles, especially for spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Bring binoculars to watch birds in action and observe local waterfowl. The trail runs along the edge of the cliff, so you’ll want to keep untrained dogs on a leash and off! Afterwards, grab a drink at The Beachy Head, Eastbourne’s other dog pub, just a minute from the station.
