Take their dogs, organizations in the city have been forced to adapt. In fact, when it comes to restaurants and breweries, Denver is the most progressive city in Colorado. In the year Until 2007, the city allowed dogs on qualified patios in regulated food establishments — if certain requirements were met — and remains the only jurisdiction in the state with such a fee. The rules have changed and improved over the years to make the rules easier for restaurants and breweries, but the Mile High City remains one of the easiest places to drink and eat with your dog. Here are the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment rules you should know before doing so.
Always on a lead: The simplest rule for pet parents is also the most obvious: If you’re bringing your dog to a restaurant or brewery, you must keep your dog on a lead and under control. Dogs must be kept at least 15 feet away from outdoor eating or drinking areas and shelters. The only exception to this rule is a watering hole, which requires a special condition so it can be given an off-leash area near an outdoor dining area, a city spokeswoman said.
Stay Outside: Dogs are prohibited in dining establishments (except for service animals) and patrons with dogs may enter the outdoor seating area only through designated exterior entrances.
Chairs and tables: This should go without saying, but dogs should always stay on the floor. It doesn’t matter if you think it’s cute: dogs are not allowed on seats, tables, desks or other furniture.
Things To Look For When Renting With Pets
Pick it up: If your bag has an accident, pick it up immediately. It’s very simple. Then the place should be disinfected with disinfectant (materials provided by the company).
