Good Dog Kc – 21 days of travel and train was the best decision my puppy could have made. It’s so animalistically reactive/aggressive that we thought the human would react too. I searched the Internet for a trainer who could help us and I trusted none other than Good Dogs. With the tools and training they have given us we are ready for anything. Even living in an apartment complex we feel safer when walking our dog. Jahaira and Andrew are so helpful, encouraging and brilliant! They know what they are doing and if they can help my Palmer I’m sure they can help anyone.
My 1 year old lab mix has been doing housework for 6 months – my husband and I are sick of it! So we began our search for dog training options. Luckily, we met Andrew and Jahaira! I can tell right away that they were extremely knowledgeable and confident in their ability to make our stubborn dog docile without letting his goofy personality fade away. We discussed our family goals: to walk the dog in public without pulling him, to stop jumping, to muzzle him, and to stop barking. We decided it would be best if our dog stayed and trained for a month to let Andrew and Jahaira really learn. When our dog came home, I was amazed that he listened and followed our commands! Andrew and Jahaira took the time to explain how to meet our dog’s hunting needs, our quick daily training, and went over a simulated program for us to follow and incorporate into our daily routine. We follow the trainers’ advice and life is very simple! I enjoy time spent with my dog ​​and I seem to bond with him more. He’s a good guy! We had help making sure all of his needs were met. I am no longer afraid of going to the vet or meeting another dog. I trust Andrew and Jahaira with all my dog ​​training needs in the future! They’re the best!

We had so much fun with you and Bristol! You were an excellent student and committed to achieving your goals. When we first met, Bristol was a wild puppy. Your goals were to control leash management, stop leash reactivity, and generally have a better relationship with your dog. She still has her adorable and fun personality, but now you have the ability to guide her towards good choices. It was so nice to see you walking with her distracted, all your work paid off and we couldn’t have asked for a better student.
If there are more stars I will give them. They become part of your family. My son went to them for a job and they brought home a new dog. He is very excited to see them because they are now his people. Juggling scheduling and keeping up to date is great. I’m a helicopter mom and have never felt annoying. Since he was at home, they check on both of us and make sure we are on the right track. Vino and I are lucky to have them in our lives.

The best! Our wild and uncontrollable dog is now completely obedient without losing his personality. Andrew and Jahaira were incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and able to teach us how to communicate effectively with our dog. We loved the constant updates on our dog’s progress throughout the boarding and training program. They posted videos on Instagram so we could follow them. It’s such a wonderful experience that we now use them for boarding when we’re out of town. 10/10 highly recommended.

I am very happy to give Good Dogs KC a 5 star review. Andrew and Jahaira were working with Gus, my 7 year old Cavalier. I still had accidents at my house and they took care of them. Gus now sleeps in his dog bed at night when I don’t put him in the car. Andrew and Jahaira are very knowledgeable and personable. I chose Jahaira for training because he asked many knowledgeable questions before we started working together. Try them. You won’t be disappointed.

I couldn’t recommend them more! Andrew and Jahaira take a balanced approach to training dogs (and perhaps more importantly, training people). We brought our Goldendoodle puppy home 6 months before having a baby and it was easy for him to pick up some bad habits. When he was about 4 years old, they sent him to board and train for 3 weeks with Good Dogs KC. The difference when he came home was night and day, and with consistent use of the techniques they taught us, we continue to see progress week after week. They helped us understand our dog: what motivates him most, what types of games he likes best, and how to train him to new ideas. The ongoing support is great too!
