Lake Placid Lodge is dog friendly and offers beautiful views of the water and mountains. My dog enjoys good food and a soft bed! I also love exploring New York’s best vacation spots, so I can’t wait to rent a nearby cabin with my dog for our next adventure. On a brisk fall day, we walked along the paved path around Lake Tukur and enjoyed the beautiful view.
Getting to Nantucket is quite the journey, but the reward is always worth it. My dog and I love traveling by ferry. I believe my dog’s idea of heaven is floating in the other direction

I love taking my energy to Steps Beach because it’s less crowded than other places but has an amazing view. We can walk along the beach for hours. After a long day in the sun, I recommend visiting Cisco Brewers for a cold drink and good food.
Another East Coast dog vacation destination is Bar Harbor, Maine. The city is surrounded by Acadia National Park, so there’s always somewhere to explore with my friend. We love walking on the beaches and appreciate the beautiful view of the beach.
When I’m in Bar Harbor, I love walking around the shops downtown. Most of the stores are dog friendly, so it’s great to spend an afternoon shopping with my best friend! Bar Harbor offers a free pet-friendly shuttle that makes getting around the area easy. Since my dog loves boats, I plan to book a dog friendly boat trip the next time we visit the water. I love taking my dog to these fun places, but it can damage the interior of my car. To combat the mess, I keep pet hair out of my truck by washing my dog well before the trip and using a high-quality seat. We both have more fun on our road trip!
