5 Dream Dog Destinations At Ontario Parks
We’re pleased that so many of you have told us that you really like our collection of places for dogs. We love it too! Traveling with Duchess is definitely a learning curve, but it means a lot to us when we can take her with us on our travels as a family.
Are dogs allowed in Toronto? Oh yeah! Despite Toronto’s reputation as a concrete jungle, there are also many parks, dog parks, and more. Even inner-city courtyards like College Park have green spaces that make walking easier for your dog.
It’s time to showcase Toronto with the dog cart series since we’ve lived here for years and it’s less than an hour away. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Chelsea and now understand why families love coming here!
Although not a full-fledged indoor water park in Toronto, the Chelsea Hotel’s entertainment area has many elements of a water park, such as a fun water slide that is partially attached to the building.

On a rainy day in Toronto, Black Lab Brewing is a great place to grab some food and drinks. Since it’s not technically a restaurant (although it does serve food), dogs are also welcome indoors.
I love that Mildred Temple Kitchen loves dogs! They even left cookies and bowls at the entrance to the patio that said, “Dogs deserve brunch too.” One of the best brunches in Toronto.

We have stayed at Westin hotels many times over the years, but last winter was our first time staying at a hotel in Ottawa. And it really likes dogs. The Westin Ottawa is a good test for those who are sure they have completed their in-house training. There are many floors and it is very difficult to walk waiting for the elevator and crossing the street to get to the real grass area.

At Walking Village, we’ve known for years that people love taking their dogs to Tremblant. But until we became dog owners ourselves, we had no idea that the city was so pet-friendly that stores even had stickers on their doors. I’ve lost track of the stores that have a green heart – that’s more the rule than the exception.
The summer will be a real test for Tremblant, when we no longer have children and can go hiking and perhaps cycling with the Duchess. As for the restaurant…while we had no problem keeping the Duchess moving and in good spirits, it was surprising that despite the world of pets we encountered in the store, there was only one hot patio open (Searle’s ) confused. about their pet policies. 9 Dog-friendly Vacations In Ontario
We are pleased to introduce Miss Duchess to our long-time favorite home. The Fairmont Tremblant is one of only three hotels in the pedestrian village of Mont-Tremblant and the only one with ski-in/ski-out access.
They love dogs! (In fact, they used to have a guard dog with his own house in the lobby.)
I’ll provide a brief overview of the Fairmont in this post, as I have a review of the recently renovated and expanded Fairmont Tremblant that takes a closer look at the entire property. So be sure to check these out too.

Since the city is pedestrian-only, being able to get around without worrying about cars and roads is a dream. There are many other dogs in the city, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to socialize. We only met one other dog owner who said his dog wasn’t socially friendly.

3 Unforgettable Dog Sledding Experiences To Try In Ontario
This is an area where Tremblant can improve his pet character. I’m not sure if Quebec restaurant rules legally prohibit dogs (except service animals, of course) from being with family members outdoors, but we were surprised to see that there was even a new heated patio the weekend we were there was open. , No dogs allowed. Bring the dogs. Lucille seems to have an exciting atmosphere and we hope they have a consistent policy before the next visit.
