I’ve been running dogs in my neighborhood all my life. I grew up in Silicon Valley and as a kid I walked many dog ​​trails in the Bay Area with my family. From Windy Hill in the Portola Valley to Arastradero in the Palo Alto Preserve, we love being outdoors with our adorable Latin Poodles.
As an adult, I’ve done all the hikes on this list with my friend’s mini goldendoodle We’ve covered a lot from the North to the Bay Peninsula. This album is my favorite. Next on my list of best dog hikes in the Bay Area is Mountain Mountain. Spanning McNee Ranch State Park and San Pedro Valley County Park in the Santa Cruz Mountains, this fast-paced San Mateo County, California is the perfect place to get outside and into nature.
The mountain rises 1,898 feet above sea level. The surrounding area is home to hiking trails that lead to North Peak and other spots around Mountain State Beach. It’s a great day trip from San Francisco.
Mount Montara is located in the south of the Pacific Ocean. It covers 690 acres and is open from 8:00 am to sunset. There are several hikes you can do here, all of which are dog-friendly. They range in distance and difficulty so there is an option for every fitness level.
