Enjoy the wild scenery of the Texas Hill Country at this dog-friendly glamping site just 1.5 miles from Pedernales Falls State Park. People enjoy stargazing, hiking, or if they’re like me, enjoying the nearby wineries and wineries. I wouldn’t recommend dog owners visit this place in the middle of summer due to the lack of air conditioning…but late fall and early winter will be great.
This rustic, dog-friendly Airbnb features a fenced yard as well as multiple decks with views of the Texas Hill Country. This is a great rental for families who want to bring their dog. Little Girl, founder and owner of Big World: an Austin, Texas-based beer and travel blog that covers everything from brewery interviews to international travel. I’ve been featured as one of UPROXX’s top beer influencers to follow on Bloomberg, Untappd, Good Beer Hunting, and most recently on Instagram. ! So I’ve teamed up with my friends at Hipcamp to showcase some of our favorite pet-friendly glamping spots near Austin. And if you’re new to Hipcamp, you can sign up for your first stay here for $10!
One of my favorite things about Hipcamp is that they actually have a “pets allowed” filter that you can apply when searching for camping and glamping spots on their site or in the app. Which makes finding pet friendly glamping a breeze!

Is this the best treehouse glamping spot in Texas? Located near Bastrop in Page, Texas, The Hobbit’s Nest Treehouse is a true forest escape. As you might have guessed, the property has a Lord of the Rings theme with lots of little decorative touches to bring the Shire to life.
And, best of all, it’s one of the best dog-friendly places you’ll ever find. In fact, the owners live nearby and their two dogs roam the country and will probably drop by the tree house to say hello!
There is no wifi, but there is a grill, toilet, shower and a small fridge, so I recommend cooking on site and really relaxing. In addition, the sounds of nature are at a premium here, especially with them
